This Privacy Policy explains how InsiderPlay ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit insiderplay.live (the "Site") and join our waitlist. InsiderPlay is a sports-betting research product — it does not accept wagers. This policy covers the marketing Site and waitlist only.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Email address — when you join the waitlist. We also record which form you used and the page that referred you, so we understand where sign-ups come from.

Information collected automatically

• Usage & device data — through our analytics provider (PostHog), we collect pages viewed, clicks and interactions, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. This helps us understand how the Site is used. We do not send your email address to our analytics provider — analytics events are behavioral, not tied to your identity by us.
• Anti-bot verification — we use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that waitlist submissions come from real people, not bots. Turnstile collects data (including device and browser signals) to make that determination. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Policy.
• Cookies & similar technologies — our analytics provider sets cookies (or similar storage) to recognize returning visitors and measure usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. See "Your Choices" below to opt out.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate the waitlist and notify you when InsiderPlay launches or has meaningful updates.
• To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
• To protect the Site against spam, abuse, and fraud.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site, each acting on our behalf:

• Supabase — database hosting; stores your waitlist email (United States).
• PostHog — product analytics (United States).
• Cloudflare — Turnstile anti-bot verification (privacy policy).
• Netlify — website hosting and content delivery (United States).

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of InsiderPlay or others.

4. Your Choices

• Email — every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@insiderplay.live to be removed.
• Analytics & cookies — you can clear or block cookies in your browser. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: if your browser sends it, we treat it as an opt-out of analytics tracking.

5. Your State Privacy Rights (United States)

Depending on the US state you live in — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others with comprehensive privacy laws — you may have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of that information.
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of targeted advertising.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email info@insiderplay.live. We will verify your request (typically by confirming control of the email address involved) and respond as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We keep your waitlist email until InsiderPlay launches and you have had a chance to create an account, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider's standard retention settings. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and bot protection on our forms. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact info@insiderplay.live and we will delete it. See our Terms of Use for age eligibility (21+).

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
